Die Siegerin der Londoner Etappe des World Cups-Dressur ist einmal mehr Charlotte Fry.
Charlotte Fry is once again the winner of the London leg of the World Cup Dressage.
Die amtierende Weltmeisterin und ihr Top-Partner Glamourdale holten sich den dritten Londoner World Cup-Sieg nach 2022 und 2024. Glamourdale, der jetzt 14-jährige KWPN-Hengst von Lord Leatherdale, zeigte in seiner Kür viele Höhepunkte. Sein starker Galopp ist nach wie vor atemberaubend (benotet zwischen 9 und 10) und auch die Zweierwechsel waren hervorragend (9 – 9,5). A-Noten zwischen 80,0 und 84,5% und B-Noten zwischen 92,5% und 97,6% addierten sich zu einem Endergebnis von 89,170% und dem Sieg.
Mit 86,410% kamen Becky Moody und ihr 11-jähriger KWPN-Wallach Jagerbomb (von Dante Weltino OLD) auf den zweiten Rang. Becky Moody hatte für ihren Auftritt im Exhibition Centre London eine Kürmusik aus Weihnachtsliedern zusammenstellen lassen, was natürlich beim Publikum unwahrscheinlich gut ankam.
Die für Norwegen reitende Isabel Freese und Paul Schockemöhles wunderbarer Total Hope OLD, der 13-jährige Oldenburger Rapphengst von Totilas x Blue Hors Don Schufro, verhinderten ein rein britisches Podium in London und kamen mit 81,695% auf den dritten Rang. Die im niedersächsischen Hemmoor lebende, aber für ihr Heimatland Groß-Britannien startende Susan Pape und Harmony’s Guililanta erritten sich ein Ergebnis von 79,805% (Rang vier) und konnte sich damit noch vor Charlotte Dujardin, die London-Siegerin von 2023 setzen. Charlotte Dujardin und Alive and Kicking, eine 11-jährige Westfalenstute von All at Once waren Zweite im Grand Prix gewesen, aber in der Kür gab es einige Haken und somit wurde es mit einem Ergebnis von 79,230% nur der fünfte Rang.
The reigning world champion and her top partner Glamourdale secured their third London World Cup victory after 2022 and 2024. Glamourdale, the now 14-year-old KWPN stallion by Lord Leatherdale, displayed many highlights in his freestyle test. His powerful canter remains breathtaking (scored between 9 and 10), and his two-tempi changes were also excellent (9-9.5). An A-score between 80.0% and 84.5% and B-scores between 92.5% and 97.6% combined for a final score of 89.170% and the win.
Becky Moody and her 11-year-old KWPN gelding Jagerbomb (by Dante Weltino OLD) finished in second place with 86.410%. Becky Moody had chosen a compositions of Christmas carols for her performance at the Exhibition Centre London, which of course was incredibly well received by the audience.
Riding for Norway, Isabel Freese and Paul Schockemöhle’s wonderful Total Hope OLD, the 13-year-old Oldenburg black stallion by Totilas x Blue Hors Don Schufro, prevented an all-British podium in London, finishing third with 81.695%. Susan Pape, who lives in Hemmoor, Lower Saxony, but competes for her native Great Britain, and Harmony’s Guililanta achieved a score of 79.805% (fourth place), placing them ahead of Charlotte Dujardin, the 2023 London champion. Charlotte Dujardin and Alive and Kicking, an 11-year-old Westphalian mare by All at Once, had finished second in the Grand Prix, but some errors in the Freestyle resulted in a fifth-place finish with a score of 79.230%.
