Heute um 8:00 Uhr begann bei den Europameisterschaften der Dressurreiter der Vet Check. Das Ergebnis nach 62 Pferden: Alle Pferde sind fit to compete.
Today at 8:00 a.m., at the European Championships Dressage the veterinary inspection started. The result after 62 horses: All horses are fit to compete.
Heute morgen am Fuße des Jura Gebirges wurden die 62 Pferde, welche für die Europameisterschafen Dressur startberechtigt sind, von ihren Reitern zum Vet Check vorgestellt. Dieser Schritt ist Bedingung bei jeder internationalen Prüfung und erlaubt den von der FEI benannten Veterinären und dem Vorsitzenden des Richtergremiums, die Gesundheit der Pferde und Ihre Fitness für die Prüfung zu verifizieren. Alle vorgestellten Pferde erhielten das begehrte ‘fit to compete’ und können daher morgen ab 10:00 Uhr im Grand Prix starten, welcher sowohl für die Mannschafts- als auch für die Team-Wertung zählt.

This morning, at the foot of the Jura Mountains, the sixty-two horses entered in the FEI
European Dressage Championship were presented by their riders for the veterinary
inspection. This is a mandatory step in any international competition, allowing the
veterinarian appointed by the International Equestrian Federation and the President of
the Ground Jury to confirm the horses’ good health and fitness to compete.
All horses presented today were declared “fit to compete” and will therefore be able to
start tomorrow at 10:00am for the Grand Prix test, which counts towards both individual
and team rankings.
The starting order for this class will be determined by a draw, held later this afternoon.
