Philipp Weishaupt was the big winner of the Longines Global Champions Tour-Grand Prix of the Vienna LGCT-leg.
Im 12-köpfigen Stechen vor der Traumkulisse von Schloss Schönbrunn in Wien siegte mit einem Husarenritt Philipp Weishaupt im Sattel seines neunjährigen schwedischen Wallachs Kilminster vor dem LGCT-Sieger von Cannes und Valkenswaard, Harrie Smolders mit Monaco und dem lange führenden ersten Stechreiter, Bertram Allen mit Qonquest de Rigo. In a jump-off of 12 in front of the dream location of Schönbrunn Castle in Vienna, Philipss Weishaupt and his nine-year old Swedish gelding Kilminster claimed the victory with a hussars’ ride ahead of the LGCT-winner from Cannes and Valkenswaard, Harrie Smolders with Monaco and the first to go in the jump-off, who was long in the lead, Bertram allen with Qonquest de Rigo.
