Mit durchaus durchwachsenem Auftakt für die Medaillenaspiranten Deutschland und Groß-Britannien startete der erste Tag des Grand Prix bei den Europameisterschaften Dressur in Crozet.
Well, this was a start with really mixed feelings for the medal favourites Germany and Great Britain on the beginning of day 1 at the European Championships Dressage in Crozet.
Der erste Reiter für Groß-Britannien, Andrew Gould und sein 12-jähriger KWPN-Hengst Indigro, der sich beim gestrigen Vet-Check völlig daneben benommen hatte und mehrfach stieg, wurden abgeklingelt. Der Hengst lief nicht rund und wurde von Chefrichter Hans Christian Matthiesen aus Dänemark abgeklingelt.
Nicht wie erhofft lief es auch für Ingrid Klimke mit Vayron. Die Kombination, die in diesem Jahr in Aachen im Grand Prix der vier-Sterne-Tour auf 71,6% kam und den Spécial mit 74,128% gewinnen konnte, kam heute nach einem durchwachsenen Ritt mit 69,348% aus dem Viereck.
Gegenwärtig ist Pause in Crozet; um 14:00 Uhr geht es mit der Polin Katarzyna Milczarek weiter.
The first rider for Great-Britain, Andrea Gould and his 12-year old KWPN-stallion Indigro, who behaved really badly at yesterday’s horse inspection with multiple rearing, was eliminated. The stallion didn’t went well and therefore the judge at C, Hans Christian Matthiesen from Denmark, rang the bell.
Also behind the expectations was the round from Ingrid Klimke and Vayron. The combination, who during this year’s four-star-tour in Aachen scored 71,6% in the Grand Prix and won the Spécial with 74,128%, left the arena after a somewhat mixed round with a score of 69,348%.
Right now, there is a break in Crozet; the Grand Prix continues at 2:00 pm with Katarzyna Milczarek from Poland.
