Der Dressur-Worldcup beim Stuttgart German Masters endete mit dem erwarteten Sieg der Doppel-Olympiasiegerin Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, die ihren Nachwuchscrack Diallo BB mit in die Schleyerhalle gebracht hatte.
The dressage World Cup at the Stuttgart German Masters ended with the expected victory of double Olympic champion Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, who had brought her up-and-coming star Diallo BB to the Schleyerhalle.
Das Ergebnis war eigentlich schon beim Blick auf die Startliste erwartbar. In Abwesenheit von Stuttgart-Dauergast Isabell Werth (die sich nach dem Tode ihres Mannes eine Auszeit vom Turniersport nimmt, wie sie selber auf social media mitgeteilt hat) und der großen internationalen Konkurrenz (von den Top Ten der Welt war nur Patrik Kittel anwesend), durfte vermutet werden, wie die Prüfung ausgehen würde.
Der erst zehnjährige Diallo BB, ein Hannoveraner-Wallach von Dancier x Floriscount, ebenfalls – wie Dalera und Unee – im Besitz der ehemaligen O-Richterin Beatrice Bürchler-Keller, ist ein hervorragendes Pferd mit einem Riesentalent für Piaffe und Passage (die zwischendurch noch etwas schwankend ausfiel, aber das sei der Jugend des Pferdes geschuldet). Diallo BB, der im Grand Prix der World Cup-Tour noch äußerst ‚an‘ war (was einem Sieg trotzdem nicht im Wege stand), hatte sich in der Kür mit der Atmosphäre in der Schleyerhalle schon weitaus besser arrangiert. Zum Floorplan und zur Kürmusik von Jessica von Bredow-Werndls ehemaligem Worldcup-Pferd Zaire zeigte der Zehnjährige eine beeindruckende Runde mit wirklich schönen Pi-Pa-Tour, gleichwohl würde man sich in den Piaffen und Pirouetten noch etwas mehr Lastaufnahme der Hinterhand wünschen. Auch die Rahmenerweiterung im Galopp hat noch Luft nach oben und wenn Diallo eine wirklich nicht gute Grundgangart hat, dann ist es der Schritt, insbesondere der versammelte Schritt (der aber dennoch generös bis zur 7 bzw. 7,5 benotet wurde). Bei A-Noten zwischen 74,5% und 78% und B-Noten zwischen 88,6% und 91,6% reichte die Gesamtnote von 83,095% zum Sieg.
Zweiter wurde der grandios gut reitende, erst 26 Jahre junge Raphael Netz mit seinem Erfolgspferd, dem 14-jährigen Great Escape Camelot. Netz, der seine reiterliche Laufbahn auf Gut Aubenhausen bei Jessica von Bredow-Werndl begann und sich im Jahr 2024 zusammen mit seiner Jugendfreundin Selina Söder (ja, der Tochter des bayerischen Ministerpräsidenten) im Moosburg selbständig gemacht hat, bewies einmal mehr, welches Talent er im Sattel mitbringt. Er pilotierte seinen KWPN-Wallach von Johnson dermaßen feinfühlig durchs Viereck, dass das Zuschauen eine wahre Freude war. 80,765% waren ein überaus verdientes Ergebnis. Mit diesem Ergebnis hat sich Raphael Netz an die Spitze des Worldcup-Rankings gesetzt, gefolgt von der für Luxemburg startenden Dänin Fie Christine Skarsoe.
Dritter in Stuttgart wurde der Schwede Patrik Kittel mit seinem 13-jährigen Quaterback-Sohn Touchdown, der mit 79,620% knapp an der magischen 80%-Grenze vorbeigeschrammt war.
The result was actually predictable from the start list. With the absence of Stuttgart regular Isabell Werth (who is taking a break from competitive riding after the death of her husband, as she herself announced on social media) and the large international competition (of the world’s top ten, only Patrik Kittel was present), it was safe to assume how the competition would turn out.
The ten-year-old Diallo BB, a Hanoverian gelding by Dancier x Floriscount, also owned – like Dalera and Unee – by former O-judge Beatrice Bürchler-Keller, is an outstanding horse with a tremendous talent for piaffe and passage (which was still somewhat inconsistent at times, but that can be attributed to the horse’s youth). Diallo BB, who was still extremely energetic in the Grand Prix of the World Cup tour (which nevertheless didn’t prevent him from winning), had adapted much better to the atmosphere in the Schleyerhalle during the freestyle. To the floor plan and freestyle music of Jessica von Bredow-Werndl’s former World Cup horse Zaire, the ten-year-old presented an impressive round with truly beautiful piaffe and passage movements; however, one would have wished for a bit more engagement of the hindquarters in the piaffes and pirouettes. The frame extension in the canter also has room for improvement, and if Diallo has a truly weak basic gait, it’s the walk, especially the collected walk (which nevertheless received scores of up to 7 or 7.5). With A-scores between 74.5% and 78% and B-scores between 88.6% and 91.6%, the score of 83.095% was enough for the win.
Second place went to the brilliantly talented, yet remarkably young, 26-year-old Raphael Netz with his successful horse, the 14-year-old Great Escape Camelot. Netz, who began his riding career at Gut Aubenhausen with Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and in 2024 established his own business in Moosburg with his childhood friend Selina Söder (yes, the daughter of the Bavarian Minister-President), once again demonstrated his exceptional talent in the saddle. He piloted his KWPN gelding by Johnson with such sensitivity through the arena that it was a true joy to watch. His score of 80.765% was a well-deserved result. With this score, Raphael Netz has moved to the top of the World Cup rankings, followed by Fie Christine Skarsoe of Denmark, who competes for Luxembourg.
Third place in Stuttgart went to Swede Patrik Kittel with his 13-year-old quarterback son Touchdown, who narrowly missed the magical 80% mark with 79.620%.
